We are urgently looking for a volunteer on an external advisory panel on a bid that I am submitting in 3 weeks. At this stage we would just be seeking a named person interested in taking part, and the actual role would depend on whether or not we get the funding. Here is the information:
External Advisory Group
We would be inviting you to be a named member of the External Advisory Group which will consist of up to 10 people from across different sectors with either a) broad experience of ageing research and/or practice and/or b) specific expertise in health behaviour(s) like physical activity in research and/or practice as well or c) lived experience as older people themselves. The group will meet (mainly online) every five months over 2 years to advise the Management team and the network on the topics and content of webinars and panel discussions, give critical feedback on suggestions for events, outputs or on pump-primed research projects and sandpit-inspired funding bids, and assist in evaluating and giving feedback on network activities and future plans. The role is of course dependent on our bid for funding being successful with UKRI.
If interested please get in touch with the project principal investigator – Prof Anna Whittaker at a.c.whittaker@stir.ac.uk which is myself!
